Friendship

“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.”

—C.S. Lewis

We’ve all got them… friends who have been with us through thick and thin, in our lives longer than we can remember, and have forgotten more random facts about us than we could ever recall.

Hopefully you stay in touch with those friends, but if you’re anything like me you probably lapse a little between contact. The great thing about these friendships is that they pick right back up where they left off, without fail, every single time.

Be sure to cherish these people in your life! They’ll always be there for you, just make sure that sometimes you’re the first to reach out.
