At The End Of Everyday…

“I just spend my time approaching things benevolently. Love each other, help each other, take care of each other. Hold no grudges. Benevolence. Teach, learn, and enable. It’s really just love. Love and non-judgement and do the best thing you can every day.”
—Todd Pesek

I don’t think I could have said it any better myself… At the end of every day, you’re left alone; no matter how big your family is, no matter if you go to bed alone or not, you are alone with your thoughts before you sleep. As you lie there, waiting for sleep to take hold, I think it’s normal to reflect upon your day, running through all the scenarios that you took part in.

It’s important to then ask yourself — “did I enrich the lives of others today, or did I detract from them?” Your goal each and every day should be to add to everyone’s lives. If you find that more often than not you are detracting, then perhaps you need to reevaluate how you spend your time each day so that when opportunities arise, you can add value and not take away from those you see throughout your day.
